One has to ask who is getting these shares. This may be a "sweetheart" deal for F&F of F&F to allow them to get tax writeoffs and shares at a low price, At least there are no warrants attached to these as there were in past when they issued FT shares,

Yes I was thinking the same thing...IF a buyout is near then this PP is fishy. LME has enough $ in bank...don't NEED this. ALMOST 5 MILLION shares added to float. This amount of shared couldn't be bought in open market...so it's disguised as $ for exploration...meanwhile somebody gets a sweet heart deal IF deal is near. Here comes the selloff.

This is why they appointed Steve I think. To manage people when news of this got out.

You are certainly right about that Drewman and he does a great job!

I for one learned a long time ago that Cynthia runs LME like she will own it forever - running incredibly hard every day at doing everything I would expect her to do if this were the case - even though she is working equally hard on selling the company. The dynamic and unpredictable nature of M&A work demand that prudent and responsible business people continue to work as if no deals are in ...more

My two cents, Business as usual until a deal is completed. This is the prudent thing to do. It's always cheaper and easier to get money when you don't need it.  Plus she is investing the funds and getting income for operations from the interest.   I think this also sends a message to whoever is at the table with an offer, which I believe there is, that Cynthia is prepared to ...more

Could be true, or just stop diluting and sell the thing. Not sure how it sends a message to anyone at an offer table, only that shell dilute her shareholders to keep exploration going until they deem someone worthy.  Im not convinced anyone is at the table here....but id love to be proven wrong...

I'm with you.  Either way people will take this negatively and the price will drop.  Which means I'll buy more!

It looks like the sub-$0.30 is coming earlier than I thought. Buckle Up.  It's going to be a bumpy ride

Womp womp wommmmmmppppp.  This is disappointing
Comment by Bracko on Oct 27, 2023 9:37am
Steve if this was good news why would they give it to them for .56 cent a share why not .70 cents or .80 cents or even.60 cents why so cheap it doesn't make sense I don't understand how or why at this time why not 2 months ago  trying to be positive for all my friends and family but it doesn't make sense that they gave it away so cheap and to dilute the shares as well
Comment by Wmaver on Oct 27, 2023 9:47am
Its because it is NOT good news.  Steve already said it is Neutral.... possibliy slightly in the positve ( but he has to say that doesn't he!) It isn't "BAD" news.  just disapointing news for all those who were so sure that a BO was tmw.
Comment by fatlas on Oct 27, 2023 9:49am
I'm not Steve - sorry - but I know that the price of these things is not entirely up to the issuer - the market regulators have a say and current market pricing is included in the decision making.  I think if you did the math - the lack of warrants is far better for us shareholders than a potentially low issue price.  yes - some people lost faith this morning and parted with 23 ...more

Maybe I am missing something here? With the massive dump of 12000 worth of shares on news which reflects business as usual, really feel this is insignificant in the outcome for this company. No doubt this thing is overdue for succession, but I feel it is reflected in this lack of jumping off points. Totally get why us longs are ansy, patience will be rewarded
