Resource numbers

LAURION follows NI 43-101 standards closely, so we’re very careful about any resource numbers we put out—nothing gets mentioned unless we can fully support it and can be validated. If you’re looking for accurate info, check out our press release from February 15th, 2024. It mentions that the exploration potential at Ishkday ranges from 22.5 to 45 million tonnes, with gold grades between 0.11 g/t and 8.67 g/t Au.  USCG has done their own extensive due diligence over 14 months and has established an opinion of LME baseline/Bluesky resource numbers. The "2.5 million ounces defined by drilling" number that’s been circulating wasn’t stated by LAURION.

I read the document and thought, yep that sounds right.  It’s not the authenticity of the document that is in question. 90% is from Laurion’s presentation. They added new risk statements, different contacts (all associated) and a few small edits but those are not being discussed. One of those edits being that in the last month Laurion has increased Institutional ownership to 16% . Remember ...more

if its "too early" for an exit then we have all wasted 5+ years being around here to be perfectly honest. UNLESS there is a concerted effort to get out of this copy-paste approach to running their business every year then we will be "too early" for another 5 years. They shift this for $3+ cad now and everyone is laughing anyways.  It seems their drill results are always ...more

This is all logical but my question is why hire a Special Committee + USCG now then? Am I wrong for not thinking it is obvious they are trying to offload this thing??

Hey Smitty64, No I don't think you are wrong at all. I appreciate your posts where you try to remove the rumors and focus on the facts and my post is just how I see those facts. I find it a little amusing that essentially I am defending a position by Roger that a resource estimate will be misinterpreted as a ceiling which is exactly what is happening here. The value that I see currently is ...more

Thanks @GoldenI, I agree that a fact/numbers based approach leads to much more realistic assumptions than rumours/increasing the size of land. My question still stands to you: Based on the activity in the last year done by Laurion: 1. Special Committee Creation -> 2. Annoucement of USCG -> 3. Property of Merit -> 4. 3rd Party (USCG) Due Diligence Completion -> 5. Removing of ...more

Probably because they/their family and friends don't want to have one foot in the grave by the time they get any value out of this.
