I think it's just you. People that are active in a stock - in either direction - rarely show their whole hand up front - instead acting and reacting in context of what is showing on the other side

Could be a number of things: Cynthia signalling buyout to companies and exploring final competing offers Getting additional financing that increases the final buyout price and/or reduces

and maybe the board is meeting because several entities backed out of the deal and now they need to find half a billion dollars and figure out how to navigate the AGM....time will tell
