The Why

Team LME

With the calendar having turned to a new year perhaps it would be interesting / helpful / cathartic / informative / fun to take a few minutes to think back to the day you decided to buy LME shares and ask yourself why you made that decision.

The why about decisions can often be lost in the noise of battle, the howling winds of a storm or news of a disappointing delay, or yet another delay.

I would be interested to learn the why's from
the wise on this forum if you care to share.

Whether your reasons read like a laundry list of LME facts or are a simple as "I want a new car" this may be a good time to review those reasons and ask yourself if they still resonate for you today.

Happy to post my why's in the days ahead.

I remain long.

My reason for investing in this stock was it was a sure thing. Lol did I ever get taught a lesson. After 4 years hear I am. Heavily invested. Now for the postive... i have become a very good investor learning from Lme not what to do and have done very well on other investments. So I like many others averaged my position into the green and am looking forward to what we are finally going to achieve ...more

What a good idea !! I think I've shared versions of this many times on here but with thr new year upon us it's worth a revisit.  why gold? Gold has been 'precious' for a long, long time - and I don't think that is going to change.  Gold and the things typically found around it are critical to the manufacture of electronics - and I don't think the ...more

$$$$ and the potential for a larger than average return in a shorter time period, friend of friend like 80% of people here saying "itis gonna sell soon guaranteed", the land is great, gold is a good investment.... Most still rings true but the management has failed to get the job done in their OWN prescribed timeline regardless of what people say and now were banking on John. The stock ...more

Any chance you can post the links to "their OWN prescribed tinelines". I may have missed them or can't seem to locate them.

in some MD&A in 2018 they mentioned a 5 year plan.  that would have concluded in 2023.

because the timeline from half a decade ago to develop and sell a gold prospecting company should be relied upon to the minute           those who want to send cynthia a message should try sending an actual message         shes smart willing and available and always has been          trying to rally anti board votes ...more

I think it's safe to say that most, if not all of us LME shareholders became shareholders largely because of the firm's commitment to an all-cash disposition in the short to medium term. And while market regulations - or LME's interpretation of market regulations - have prevented them from providing us not only details of any in-flight deal negotiations, but also not telling us much ...more

Team Nice to see some of the wise commenting on the why's that drove their original decision to buy LME stock. Keep them coming oh wise ones... As mentioned in my post calling for why comments to be posted I said I would post my own why's so here goes.. Much of my decision mirrors Fatlas in the context of the list of facts that LME had going for them at the time of my first ...more

The emergence of modern computing technologies in this sector just levels the playing field for everyone in the exploration space anyways....much like the rest of the AI/emerging tech space...those who choose NOT to use these types of tech will be left behind. Its great that we have already begun to employ these emerging tech practices and It could definitely make a stronger case for the ...more
