Laurion Mineral Exploration Inc. > Market smarter than us?

Market smarter than us?

One question I always ask myself is are we smarter than the market? Or is the market smarter than us? I understand the market is skepticism on LME and as such stock isn't priced but the market is pretty sophisticated. Money will drive up the value of  stock that is reasonably likley to have a takeover or something else materially positive happen in the future. Of course the market wouldn't price the full amount of this but certainly a percentage of this yes. So question remains are we all smarter than the market?  Or are we all suckers?

Don't need to be smarter than the market. Just need to be smarter than those selling.

Smarter or even just more patient

@Lambo and others, what is your current stance? I am thinking we will be seeing a PR in the coming days/week for the 2nd half of the most recent drill results. It will leave us some "lull" time between then and the AGM....I am under the impression "no news is good news" as they have yet to announce their next drilling plan/season? (or did I miss something) As the days pass, are ...more

Hi Smitty, Like most of us I am all over the board, depending on the day. I have also found a show called "American Greed" which doesn't help! It can make the most optimistic person question absolutely everything, which everyone should really. In response to Time and Money's recent post I got into this with my eyes open and it was not only the story and drillling ...more

not enough volume for me to believe they wont host an AGM with nothing to show....gonna be funny
Comment by BidingTime on Jan 07, 2025 3:56pm
Agreed... With volumes this low is it possible for any material news to be imminent ?
Comment by GoldenBull999 on Jan 07, 2025 4:02pm
I mean....could be that because its a sale direct to a board member the potential leaks are air tight...could be that no one believes what they say and so are cautious as to buy any more...however...imo certainly family and friend leaks would see increased volume.....at least Roger hasn't posted saying everyones gonna be a trillionaire soon because that would indicate we have 5 years to wait ...more

As said before, highly unlikely that they'll announce at AGM

So what are we doing then? Why host at a yacht club? I doubt lme board members are that tone deaf. Maybe they are just doing it for roger. Maybe he has his eye on a new boat.
Comment by Primpage on Jan 07, 2025 8:47pm
Because Cynthia and Roger are trying to keep as many friends and family invested as long as possible to keep their support. The last 2 events of Cynthia exercising her options seem to be smoke and mirrors and she's trying to show to her F&F group that they should stick around. Then I'm sure I don't have to remind anyone about Roger's FB post that made its way to this website ...more

I do agree that Cynthia and management has an interest in keeping f&f  ownership as high as possible. I think there are pros and cons to this. The pro is we won't be bullied into an unflattering take over offer. The con as long as ownership is high less pressure to get a deal done quickly. I'm not sure about anyone else but I ain't getting any younger. That bring said I remain ...more

Sorry Primpage, explain to me how hosting the AGM at a yacht club will keep the F&F group invested longer?
