Anyone interested in voting against the current board of trustees, or sending a message to management to let them know our displeasure as a group of shareholders?

I'm now a large shareholder. Given recent voter turnout, a group of us could have significant sway in voting.

If you have 100 million to repay shelter's loan you can do that. You go back to a tiny shareholder right after the REIT convert shelter's loan into units.

There's no guarantee that happens. Why would they want units?  In any case, worthwhile applying some pressure where we can. I will be voting against the trustee nominations unless I hear from management about what they are doing to protect shareholder interests. I've emailed the CEO. Will see if he gets back to me.

He will not get back to you. No one cares, you should realize that the board is pretty much shelter appointed and the CEO is also in bed with them. As to why they would want the units, they want them to benefit from the turn around of the economic in the fort Mac region. The same reason you hold the shares. Shelter provided 100+ million to the company during the tough time and they expected to be ...more

Well, a conference call to hear from them, their plan and a Q&A would be a nice start.
