5.48 million shares traded today:

Wouldn't it be a scam if the so-called purchaser and/or their financial advisors

origionally sold short to drive the stock down, covered their position and bought a few more,

then after the 40 cent "offer"  was not finalized    then sold short again, then covered?

This might be also a strategy to get Lakeside Steel at a 'steal' of a price.

I would think Vic must be really mad about now.

Still; if 5.48 million shares sold, then 5.48 million were bought; but i am not too impressed.

why would Vic be mad as he was probably the one shorting this stock. Are you related to him or something ?

There wasnt a whimper on behalf of management that the offer was dropped to 30 cents. This seems to indicate that LS has no negotiating leverage. So, once the DD is complete and the new offer is 20 cents, will management reject it or also accept it without a whimper ?   Something doesnt add up here and the large number of  eager sell orders at 29 cents and above, capping the share price ...more

insiders know that even if they do get caught with their hand in the cookie jar very little if anything at all will happen to them. Their mom (the regulators) is like a dyfunstion enabler who looks the other way  he's doing something wrong, saying he's a big boy, he can police himself.
