Just 100 km South of HD mine and within the same faulted corridor as VMS discoveries by MAE  is the Buchans mine .


Asarco mined 16.2 million tonnes grading 14.51% zinc, 7.56% lead, 1.33% copper, 126 grams silver and 1.37 grams gold from five deposits at the Buchans camp …

The Buchans VMS deposit was actually produced from 5 deposits, each sequentially explored and developed as early deposits were mined out. Actually, the first Buchans mine produced only 287,000 tons but its grades were so high that gross margins were sky high . This will probably be the case with Black Ridge. Why? MAE only acquired this project in November of 2023. Yet, in those two months major ...more
