Mining of Tailings Pond #2 gold Fines

This tailings pond holds tailings mostly from the Pine Cove mine where the grade was very good and recovery only about 80%.

This tailings Pond is just in the other side of the road from the Pine Cove mill ( see panoramic photo at beginning of the CP )  and is largely dry muck about 2 feet deep .

I think that it is eminently mineable , grades are excellent and should be very profitable ..

Here is the Statement accompanying the January 2024 NR..

"Maritime is conducting additional sampling throughout the property and has identified gold mineralization contained in in the TSF #2 tailings pond (Figure 2, Table 1) where material grading between 1.19 grams per tonne (“gpt”) and 31.1 gpt gold was identified.

Further sampling is underway to define the extent of this material and determine the potential for processing through the Pine Cove mill."

FYI, Pine Cove mine produced 144,000 ounces at an average recovery of 83% . Total mill feed gold content was therefore 144,000 ounces divided by 83% which is about 175,000 ounces . In other words, about 30,000 ounces of gold in the form of gold fines were discharged into Tailings pond #2 at a grade well above the feed head grade of 2.5 grams per ton Thats a very nice high grade gold asset to ...more

ALL your postS and we still need a R/S. ALL you say,to me says No R/S IS NEEDED. AS YOU SAY. TIME WILL TELL..JMO
