I have previously posted the NL Govt proposal for reclamation  of  tailings on exempt lands and in particular the Consolidated Rambler Tailings on Exempt Lands. In 1987, the Newfoundland Department of Mines evaluated the potential for economic concentrations  of gold and base metals in the Rambler tailings area (Collins, 1987). A total of 1005 tailings samples were col- lected and analyzed and as a result, three zones containing a total of 881 468 tonnes grading 2.057 g/t Au were outlined (Table 22). These are within the exempt lands
