Look at Energy Fuels as a new REE-competitor for example: Also monazite! More determined and more quickly to production than MDL. So regarding this low and frustrating speed at MDL should we wait another 3 years in view of the good REE market situation?

one tenth of energy fuels share price would be nice  Have been with MDL 11 years and its always  ALWAYS the same thing GIANT THINGS are coming Tomorrow

Take a deep breath Laith and put things in perspective.  The company for the last year is not Don Lay's company for the previous 9 years.  Mark Saxon has made transformational steps in a very short period of time and the stock price has reflected it.  The investment by the global monazite trading house gives them credibility in the supply chain.  The acquisition of a ...more

Thank-you.  Another voice of reason.  Just because we haven't heard news on the TEA  doesn't mean someone else hasn't! Im loving this chart.

Agreed. Noting too that Medallion over the past 10 years was not too different a picture from the rest of the REE sector overall in the US. The REE sector in the US and elsewhere outside of China was largely speculative with no significant commitment from the govt to support its development, and it resulted in alot of failures including Molycorp ( and in AU too with Lynas that would have gone ...more

Energy Fuels is tied to their hard-rock deposit. Medallion's tech is transferable. Energy Fuels is using the standard solvent based extraction, and has to ship the concentrate half way around the world to be separated. Medallion's LAD tech is water based, and enables them to separate on-site anywhere in the world where their technology is applied, which is a huge value-add. Environmental ...more

I would surmise that the delay in the TEA could also be due to a focus for the plant now to be outside of the US.  When the TEA was started last fall the thinking was Texas / Gulf Coast to be in close proximity to the Chemours monazite stockpile and 2,000 TPA ongoing.  Since then, Chemours sold the stockpile to the Chinese and Energy Fuels did a deal for the ongoing production.  The ...more

Now that is smart thinking, actually wrote quite a long post on the subject but deleted it thinking I'd just let it play out. Not sure it would cause delay to the TEA but you may well be right. Iluka is already doing primary processing of their stored monazite in WA and shipping to China but their CEO is making all sorts of bold claims on how they are going to move downstream. They have a ...more

So what is. Mdl roadmap in your opinion sir. Will they be bought out. Will they partner to production will they go it alone  and what are advantages for each.  Just seems all these other companies move with so so much more gusto while all mdl does is miss opportunities   Please share your thoughts
Comment by investor55x on Apr 13, 2021 10:56am
My opinion: I hope that we will be bought out, because otherwise we can wait another 5 years with no cash flow...
