Paul Beattie is a very successful fund manager at BT Global and has an investment in MedX according to his recent Monthly Reports.

Here are his comments on MedX this month.


A more striking comparable is the MedX Health Corp (MDX.v), with a market cap of C $40 mil. which will be bringing tele-dermatology to the world using special cameras and digitizing pictures of skin abnormalities. The US comparable is DermTech (DMTK) with a market cap of US $1.8 bil. and revenues of $5 mil. These are small indications of the value gap between our two countries’ equity markets. We are not claiming that these companies should trade at similar values, but simply pointing out the massive valuation discrepancies and the likelihood that the Canadian names will get US investor buying interest at one point, partially closing the gap.

That's awesome news. I guess the Americans are also waiting for news and actual sales and I would imagine we might see a share price bump.

This has been my thinking all along. There is definitely a disconnect in the market that fails to recognize Medx's potential.  If you read through any of the marketing materials for DermTech, you will see that all of the facts in terms of the size of the melanoma detection market and the growth potential for for their technology is basically the same for Medx.  IMO a huge reason

And the debt that Derm Tech is holding is ???. Medx has turned the page and we will see revenue on the books this year. Netherlands itself being a tiny piece of the puzzle should bring somewhere between 1.5-2,5 million of recurring cash. The world is opening slowly now. We all should start to hear more on Brazil and units being sent. We should hear more on other south american countries signing up

Well of all people Dunworkin, I know your relaxed by your comment. I am not sure how and why people are so worried about why MDX has had a large jump these past 1 1/2 weeks. Either we are getting other investors i.e. retailers buying or the noise on the street is getting out there and big houses are getting in. My thought as I see it is news will be coming and it will floor the heck out of all of

Ya, I'm not in the camp of comparing Mdx to that mammoth $1.6B USA company. From what I've read on this bullboard, the other company appears overvalued, but I haven't done any DD on it.  Our little rocket ship had some uninspirational Q3 numbers, so am looking forward to revenue news and/or Q4 to see what is moving the needle. I'm not that naive to be comparing MDX to Derm Tech, I'm just saying that someone could have seen a good potential with MDX. Potential is good but sales are better.

I tend to agree with your blurb , Rubberband.   Covid has put a little kink in the works , thats for sure.   I remain a MDX dreamer....
