Very interesting indeed. However, did anyone else notice that he mentioned that the partnership with Medx was negotiated in the span of 4 to 6 weeks. We all know that Medx has previously stated that they were working with a Canadian pharmacy chain for over a year. What happened with that? Did those negotiations fall through? And if so, why?  Don't get me wrong I'm glad that they' ...more

what is very clear now especially now we understand how we are moving forward this will be the norm of how things will move forward. According to Bill deals won't be simple as selling machines other than to mom and pop types. Large scale deployment will have to deal in pilots and long long wait times for results.but if you look at my posts from a year ago, I stated that it would be close to ...more

Guessing there will be a Long wait for money from Empower. In December bought some Toronto Chiro clinics - looks small time since business address is someones house.  Then new deal between Rexall and Empower will probably take a while to get up and running. Sounds like they have to set up clinics (and only have a goal of 30 medical clinics), figure out how to get the clinic up and running ...more

I see every bullboard has it's own resident village idiot basher.  Yours is obviously 1stockwatcher.  Clearly he doesn't understand how easily it is to look up information about a company or even call the CEO of the company to gather information.  Steve McAuley at Empower is a Six Sigma certicfied CEO.  The only Six Sigma CEO to take over and run a penny stock ...more

You missed the main point. It will take some time for revenue to be generated by a company that is just starting to set up clinics in Canada. Yes Rexall is a subsidiary of McKessen. Your point is? Empowers head office may be in Vancouver, but look at where its current business is. It is very US focused. Thats not a bad thing, thats why I mentioned that thats where business will probably come from ...more

Welcome to the MDX board. You will see there is some frustration on this board because of the very slow development of the Dermsecure ecosystem. This deal might be good for Empower, but only titme will tell. It won't be fast partnering with a company just starting 3 clinics in Canada. But time will tell. Things can change. I'm guessing Steve has made you some money hence you ire. But ...more

I found that quite disappointing. It is obvious that Med X doesn't have an operational execution plan for customers. They have to waste time and effort to try to figure it out. No idea of cost structure etc. Obviously a US model would be different then a Canadian model - Sounds like they are working off a blank slate. History has shown that MedX can have people pilot the product because it ...more
