Terra Firma

to actually get back on a good conversation track we need to identify where we are at. I have been doing background research and I've come to the conclusion that we are at a pivotal point. Let's start with the deal with in power after watching the videos with Mike and Steve and deep diving into Empower and its history and understanding the relationship it's beginning with Rexall and have concluded that one of two things have happened with Mdx's involvement. My understanding from investment sources at empower suggest that they've been brought in to re-establish the healthcare clinic for Rexall and would be beneficial for both parties to have medics as a partner with empower. I believe the reason that it's not actually stated that Rexall is using MedEx could be potentially a number of reasons but I would guess at this point it was largely due to timing of empowers news release. It could also be that there might have been an issue with Rexall using a new company FedEx and I would imagine there would be some sort of rigorous vetting process which might have played to losing some ground on the Empower announcement. I believe Mexico will be announced within the first three weeks of April is my guess speaking to health Canada directly and of course not being able to get exact answers was able to conclude that there was a hiccup of some sort and was able to get it cleared up.

I'm absolutely convinced that we are seeing the bottom get your shares while you can at these prices because I believe we are at the Pinnacle point of this roller coaster to begin the ride of your life. Guys Mike alluded to a new number in the video with Steve speaking about charging $15 per scan us do the math we are sitting on a billion dollar company. I think insightfuls comparison to ...more

I am so with  you on having sensible  dialog on this site, if posters are just spewing to be annoying it does get in the way of meaningful dialog. Your observations are very sound. I think MedX alluded to an update on a PROACTIVE video I saw that they now have 7 clinics up and running in the Netherlands which means annualized, each clinic will contribute approximately $90,000USD of SaaS ...more

I would love to see anything from Mdx that doesn't require as much work to find out information as I have done over the last two weeks. But I know this is the way they role until they have something that they can be sure of moving forward. I think they finally get that they no later never can make statements and then not follow up. I believe this is a good strategy to build back confidence ...more

I think this is only the bottom if sales dollars start coming in. If there is another 6 months of no sales volume in the bank then unfortunately I'm afraid we could see another slide lower. That means the Netherlands needs to produce. ASAP I don't think we can expect very much from the Canadian business in 2021. Building up the Rexall business takes time. We can't expect anything ...more

Speaking from the position of why I bought into Mdx was because my wife deals with suspicious moles constantly. Getting in to see a derm on average for us has been upwards of 6 months in Toronto. To 100 to 150 hands down no issue if in 72 hours or less that stress is dealt with either way because early detection is so important. I have lost a good number of friends to cancer so this is why I ...more

The portion of cost that needs to be paid to the Dermatologist is $106. This would need to be paid by the patient unless they have received a referral to see a dermatologist. The go to market price is still one of the big questions I have. If you consider $15-20 for MedX, $106 for the derm and assume $50 for the service provider (at the least) then you are looking at ~$175 for the service. The ...more

Thanks for your input. It leads to wondering how that layer of education is going to occur - Educating Family Docs about Dermsecure. Seems like a big step.  This is why I believe any significant revenue from out of Canada will not be seen until 2022 at the earliest.

Hopefull Obviously from your story you/your wife see dermatologists. What is the opinion of that/those Dermatologist(s) towards DermSecure?
Comment by hopefull on Mar 29, 2021 11:28am
the two who we have seen have not heard about Medx nor dermsecure. So there is a huge gap that has to be fixed.

I guess Mdx has a big job ahead, Pharmacies don't have big relationships with Dermatologists
Comment by csutton10 on Mar 29, 2021 12:37pm
I don't think the concern is with the pharmacies or even Med Spas/Private health clinics not having relationships with Dermatologists. That is covered by MedX since they are the ones establishing those relationships in that given market. The concern for me, specifically in Canada, is the provincial health insurance (i.e. OHIP in Ontario). A two tier pricing model to me makes sense for this ...more

I'm glad you have faith that MDX has relationships with the dermatology community. Unfortunately I have seen no evidence of that. I figure they need 50-100 Dermatologists willing to participate for this to be a financial homerun - or some full time Dermatologists reading scans. that might be a big ask
