How many dermatologists in Canada? 537 sounds familiar. Given the Mdx dermatological advisory board, any chance they can use it to get even 50% of the Derms to invest in Mdx.

Would address two issues: 1) the lack of cash and 2) would pretty much almost naturally result in Siascopy growth in Canada. Ie. word gets out, units get installed, scans get done.

If it works expand out to other countries.

Mdx needs $$$

Dermos, like most doctors in Canada, are not interested in ivesting their time or money into new technology. They are only interested in making more money than last year. With wait times growing, they are loving the fact that hey have us by the short and curlies.

It is all about the $$$ for Derms. I agree. So, in theory, why can't a Derm hire an intern and part of the interns job is to do the initial review of the incoming Siascopy scans. I'm sure the intern could address 95% of these and the trickier ones would get a second review by the Derm. As long as the billing process is supported by public health, or private health insurance, the Derm is ...more
