Majestic Gold Corp. > Incredibly lower insider ownership. Why?

Incredibly lower insider ownership. Why?

"As at the date of this Information Circular, the directors of Majestic as a group own beneficially, directly
or indirectly, or exercise control or direction over, an aggregate of 270,000 shares, or approximately 0.01% of the 1,043,664,381 outstanding Majestic shares."

Those 270,000 belong to Stephen Kenwood, President and CEO. He's been a director since 2013. Am I being overly harsh in thinking something stinks about this?

That's under C$20,000 worth of shares at 7 cents a share for the the President and CEO at the company for over 10 years. None of the other directors own any shares.

Instead of paying for Stockhouse to promote the stock, shouldn't they show outsider investors confidence and assurance by not being afraid of eating their own cooking?

first of all, agree. It would be good to have a compelling reason from MGM why they havent invested much in their company. Other than wild speculations, here are 2 reasonable possible explanations: - stock option plan. The company has an stock option plan and can allocate shares at an discounted rate to employyes to a maximum of 100 million shares over a period of time. So there is plenty of ...more

Tku Richard, for your input on this Gold Company . FYI , I own and follow this "babe" since 2009...  :)  :(   ;)   I looked at earlier MDAs and dig out the following : About 27 millions options @ $0.12 expired in the last 5 years. BUT  in Feb. 2018 the last PP was for 64.7 million shares @ $0.15 ,no warrants. ALSO from july to sept 2018  67.5 million ...more

I looked for information on Kong and came up empty. Who is he? Also, why is management and board so timid about stepping up to the plate and purcashing 100,000 shares every so often? Excluding one 100,000 purchase earlier this year, there was NO insider buying since 2019. The insider buying then was a grand total of 200,000. I just think management and board must know the company and situation ...more

Yes of course it stinks.  And the explanation with the options is obviously made up to fit in Richard’s dreamworld. Why not make more money if you can? It's those simple questions which the believers can only answer with unrealistic, far fetched constructions. That's why it stinks.

The last time issued options were " in the money" was 2012-2013. More than 50 millions options expired after that. So Management did not profit off of shareholders. TOCKY

The situation is the share price has had no market respect. Management recognizes this, hence hiring Stockhouse for IR services. Question: Why don't they understand the importance of this shameful embarrassment? ----> "As at the date of this Information Circular, the directors of Majestic as a group own beneficially, directly or indirectly, or exercise control or direction over, an ...more

@ Auburn2, Yes the mine is in China. It's not the wild wild west, some restrictions. From what you can see on the Cie presentation, the mine expansion and operation  has been done, IMHO expertly. What we need is more milling capacity. Maybe the mine aquisition envisioned shall include a mill.. As for the share price, the majority of shares are held above  $0.135 ,$0.155,$0.180 and $0 ...more
