Hong Kong v. China

https://www.aastocks.com/en/stocks/market/ah.aspx

Shows the sharp discount of Hong Kong shares vs identical listings in China. That's because of China's capital controls. Consequently, I'd assign a sharp discount to the cash held in China. Latest financials: "$59,214,932 is held in China"

Taking out that, we see US$33 million in Hong Kong and US$11 million in Canada. Liabilities on the B/S are US$33 million. So US$11 million of net cash when excluding the sum in China. That works out to C$15 million.

Another US$15 million for the China portion after multiplying it by 25%. That's about C$20 million.

The presentation cites the gross cash position without subtracting liabilities and without breaking down where the cash is held, but presentations are marketing documents trying to flaunt the company in the best possible light.
