Another Webinar

This Thursday 27th yet another Adelaide Capital Webinsr with Akiba, will this one make any difference or will the share price keep declining now at 32c on the bid.
Perhaps Akiba can comment on this decline and why there is no interest in the company from new investors.....
Comment by Method on Jan 24, 2022 5:30pm
Why do you think there is little interest from new investors?
Comment by novacapital on Jan 24, 2022 10:24pm
im surprised no one from KNT is buying this, or just a few..

Method, I have given my thoughts on that over the last few months. Small Resource, Debt, Wexford ownership over 50% and the influence Wexford have over the company. Illiquid stock, threat of a share buyback as that is the only way the company think they can increase the shareprice....

"intrinstic value" has been here for 3 years now. we are 2022 - this stock has had a great story since 2015 when i got invovled.  now we are here sitting on the same share price within reason. Stock price had more liquidity with the older management no? Its been so long i can't remmeber. anyway,  Gold is up, stock is not. same story as always - good news some debt has ...more

The company reset in 2019 with the rights issue at 10 cents. Comparing the stock price before the rights issue with the stock price now doesn't make any sense.
Comment by novacapital on Jan 27, 2022 7:41pm
Yes it makes sense, if your blind to it that your problem

I don't know why so many investors think they are experts in investing when they don't have any formal training. By the way, I don't think formal training has any correlation to profits.  Or maybe we are just misunderstanding each other and I made a poor assumption. I'm not trying to offend anyone. Just trying to share my perspective which I appreciate is not for ...more

your perspective comes off as very ignorant,  gold passes resistance and stock price goes down. good perspetive competing companies fair better witht the price of gold. and less of an offering,  old ceo company is doing better.  and all you stand on is two facts, righter offering from 2019 and intrsintic value.  check your perspective  and we are both here hoping for ...more

I think the stock is very cheap. That's why I keep buying. Yes I tend to focus on price vs intrinsic value. That's how I measure risk/reward. That's the right perspective to me. 50 cents doesn't even begin to reflect fair value here and it doesn't really matter if the market figures that out before or after they buyback stock or pay a dividend.

imagine being bullish about a stock I own.
Comment by novacapital on Jan 28, 2022 5:08pm
I am bullish on a stock we both own,  difference You think it should be worth less and I think it shuld be worth more.  as barry said your happy at .285 cents. i am well frankly anyone else who bought a gold penny stock shouldn't be.  (long term...its been a while)
Comment by Method on Jan 28, 2022 5:43pm
I think there is some confusion. I don't think the price reflects anywhere close to what Mako's worth and especially what it could be worth which is why I'm buying. I just don't understand the point of blaming management for the price when they are making all of the right decisions and executing as well as can be expected to increase what Mako's worth.  The free cash ...more

you dont seem to understand how long this is taking, and the window we have for gold  if gold drops then this is a really bad stock to own, buying into gold jr mines while gold is on the rise is ideally the common sense thing to do.  ive owned this since gold was at 1100/oz. we are now under 1800./oz. stock price back then was at the high .33 cents and low under 15 cents.. where we at ...more

This is such a nonsensical view, it's sad. Best of luck to you.

I also watched the Adelaide update this week.  I have to admit like others I am frustrated with the share price.  But one thing I have always maintained and certainly picked up on it in Akiba's presentation was the fact that we are potentially sitting on several other potential high-grade deposits.  Our focus to date has been the production of San Albino.  Now we can spread ...more

method, Did you listen to the Adelaide Webinar yesterday, i did and put a question about the sell off and share price. Akiba's answer "I couldn't careless where the share price is" i'm staggered a CEO of a listed company can say that to his shareholders!!!
Comment by Method on Jan 28, 2022 6:46am
I did listen and I agree with the comment because the part you left out was timeframe. He's focused on the long term share price and the current share price doesn't impact the long term because MKO doesn't need to raise capital.
Comment by barrywhit on Jan 28, 2022 7:21am
method, I'm amazed, are you related to Akiba??
Comment by Method on Jan 28, 2022 7:24am
Ha... no. I have just been investing for a long time, have some patience and understand what management controls and what they don't.
Comment by barrywhit on Jan 28, 2022 7:49am
method, I'm glad you enjoyed the joke. I have also been investing for a very long time and the worse thing a company can have is an arrogant CEO with little regard for Private Investors, unfortunately he only has to answer to Wexford and i can't believe they are happy with this share price performance. They obviously thought the share price would be a lot higher as was seen by the expiry ...more

i think he has the utmost regard for private investors. He's as accessible and transparent as any CEO, I have come across. I'm sure Wexford wouldn't mind a higher share price but they know the value of the business is potentially multiples higher than the stock price. If anything the fact that the warrants were priced at 60 cents anticipating the execution we have seen just ...more

method, Perhaps we can agree to disagree, you are happy with $0.285c bid...i am not....we can leave it at that...
Comment by barrywhit on Jan 28, 2022 7:29am
Method, As you listened to the webinar and the Q&A section, what are your thoughts on the US/Biden Sanctions incurred on Nicaragua? being a UK citizen i wasn't aware of that problem but could account for the sell off....
Comment by Method on Jan 28, 2022 10:43am
i don't think it impacts intrinsic value.
Comment by Method on Jan 27, 2022 5:31pm
Do you think these are good reasons not to own it? If so, why do you own it?
