M&A

With continued firming up of gold above  $2300, I continue to witness M&A activity in this sector. My gut is telling me that maybe Mako is making itself a target to be swallowed as senior producers are l always looking for cost effective ways to add ounces. Akiba, I can't remember if the Co. Has a poison pill strategy in place or is the company leaving itself open to such a takeover potential?  You are making all the right moves and aligning with the best people available in the space so just maybe this has peaked interest. IMO JL1

This will not be taken out unless the offer has wexfords blessing as they hold close to 50% .that is the poison pill.

Also Wexford has invested in this Venture for 8 plus years at say an average cost per share of say $1.50.  I sure do not think they will agree to be taken out at these low share prices.....Patient money.

Definetly not thinking about an offer sub $5.00. None here would accept that. As for Wexford they have an exit strategy like any good investor. The depth of talent we now have is remarkable for a small junior explorer and  $5 target is a given by y/e 2024.

We are just gaining momentum albeit NCIB certainly a big  contributor but this story is only a BABY. Babies grow fast. We aren't stopping at 5$ nor 10$

I wouldn't confuse "long term greedy" with "patience".  This is not the Company for the latter.

Wexford's high 40% position does mean that corporate transactions need their consent, but I honestly don't see how the Company would be run differently, even if they were a smaller % owner.

There's no poison pill, or any desire to ever have one put in place.   I think they are among the worst mechanisms you can put in place wrt governance.   Currently, no executive at the Company has a Change of Control greater than 1 year.
