Banks and/or capital investment firms are not whom we want to see owning near 16% of MMG for a paltry sum. Hopefully, MMG gets lucky and options out more alluvials and cashflow can begin to replace dilution for the DP next year. No mention of a Keno DP in this NR and it is almost June.

I think it's a vote of confidence if banks and investment firms are interested in MMG. Besides, it's Newcrest Mining....a multi-billion dollar company that has just decided to invest.  Newcrest wouldn't be investing if they didn't see major potential in our company's projects. So, this is very good news in my opinion. deet

As long as Newcrest doesn't gain a controlling interest everything is just super-duper. MMG better put themselves in a position where Newcrest can't dilute shareholders out again. Newcrest invests in companies they can potentially gain a controlling interest. 200+ million shares FD/OS with a chair on the BoD for Newcrest.
