Scott Petsel interviewed yesterday

"With higher silver prices we may be able to raise more money to do more exploration.to move our Keno silver project from an 18 million oz resource upwards of  50 million oz  in a season or two. That would be largely something we'd be very interested in."

Not much said here. More like a Shallow Dive.

Silver and gold up this morning....MMG...drip, drip, drip down. Very frustrating....and disappointing to say the least. Management's number one responsiblity is to increase shareholder value!

MMG management are wealthy, successful and very experienced. They own 17% of the shares in MMG so they will do what is best for the shareholders although they are progressing methodically.painfully slow. They have two majors that are the parties to their exploration projects. Hecla can't be offering anything realistic for Formo and/or Keno East in it's entirety so Scott is now saying ...more

Don't hold your breath on a significant buy-out offer from Hecla.  Years ago, their management, as the largest shareholder in Dolly Varden, tried to take them out while their share price was languishing.  Thankfully, management resisted, even though it has been a years-long recovery for DV.  See  www.juniorminingnetwork.com/junior-miner-news/press-releases/1104-nyse/hl ...more

MMG's Formo deposit is situated five kms from Hecla's mill complex. Hecla's Keno West and Hecla's Rakla properties are sandwhiched between MMG's Keno district holdings: https://www.hecla.com/exploration#racklaexplorationproject Hl have stated they are going full bore/all in with their Yukon position and plans/vision for the future. HL will want to obtain these MMG properties ...more

Matt, everything you say makes sense.  I'm just not convinced that Hecla management is willing to pay much of a premium to obtain the properties, and attracting another bidder would be a real challenge,  considering that Hecla has already declared their interestin the property.  Let's hope they prove me wrong.

I agree and to date you are correct.  Management have begun down the road of maximising the ounces out of Formo as that deposit is right next to HL's mill complex. Management states they would explore a tolling deal with Formo and the rest of the district would be open to having another exploration company acquire Keno East. If they cannot attract an exploration company to acquire Keno ...more

Yes, everything makes sense. That's why I can't understand why we've been dead in the water for what seems like an eternity....now trading below a measly 20 cents again. MMG never fails to disappoint.

Oh by the way, silver is up again today. But as an MMG shareholder, you'd never know it.

We are languishing from lack of news/ forwarding the projects. The last NR of any consequence was April 16th: Metallic Minerals Announces Drill Results and New Drill Targets at the La Plata Project, Colorado, USA There has been silence for seven months-not a word on the very limited DP at Keno and nothing about La Plata. MMG have to consistently fund and forward these projects for there to be ...more
