Cathy's Restricted Share Units - Revisited

I would just like to make a correction on what some posters thought was Management and Directors buying shares. No share were bought, but Cathy had some excersizable RSU's which she excersized.

Cathy excersized 1 million RSUs of Monument Mining as she was entitled to. And upon her excersizing the RSUs, she occured an income, which is taxable for income tax purposes.

Now these share have to have a value attached to them for income, and tax purpose, so she picked a day when the shares had a low market value on the open market, compared to other days, and that day, the shares traded at .11CAD. Now, her 1 million shares have a value, set for income, and taxation.

This RSU excersize added the full value of these shares .11CAD x 1 million to her income for 2021, and set a purchase price of .11CAD for taxable capital gains, or loss when sold onto the open market.

I hope this clarifies what some thought Cathy, and others were buying shares, what they got , were freebie house shares, and as Richard Cushing said yesterday  "

Wow, I rarely post but your righteous attitude is quite annoying But the real thing that bugs me is your inability to assume responsibility for your past actions and that 'management' is to blame Your investing in penny gold stocks, only a fool would blame management for past losses, there's no one to blame but yourself

Just your opinion.... that and a buck ninety will get you a coffee at Timees ....  If you read what it was all about.... we had posters jumping for joy.... that management was buying shares .... which wasn't true ..........   what they got were freebies ....... Richard
