Average Production per Open Pit mine
Reviewed the historical production data for our three Murchison tenements
Tuckanara..................125,000 ounces from 4 open pits
Gabanintha.................180,000 ounces from 6 open pits
Burnakura...................229,500 ounces from 11 open pits.
Total production was approximately 535,000 ounces from 21 open pits.
The average production per open pit was about 25,000 ounces of oxides.
It should be noted that significant oxides remain within some of these 21 formerly mined open
pits, as most were high graded from the shallowest depths by open cut mining.
Just to give you some idea as to what you might expect for any new oxide pit discoveries.
Below all of these exist the source rock containing the higher grade lodes in the basement .

I saw today that Australia has over taken China as the world`s biggest producer of gold . All those big Australian companies are looking to replace ounces I would think .

How utterly stupid of me . There are over 600,000 ounces left in those 21 pits and they will find more as they cut back the pit walls . So, actual production average per open pit is over 50,000 ounces once all is said and done..
