A few years ago, Wolfgang put together an offer from Westgold to take out MMY...... Management at that time declined.

I will try and find the original offer

I remember being told that by Wolfgang . I think at that time Westgold was in a much weaker position and MMY simply ignored them . It would be different today . The only fly in the ointment for us is if Westgold took only the Australian assets . As has been the case since Roman times MMY would keep the cash for themselves and as always shareholders would get nothing . ...more
