Guesstimates for updated reserve #'s??

Let's see who comes close to the actual report. Some fun while we wait. Keep it in a 100,000 ounce range.
I am going to predict 870,000  to 937,000 ounces with lots of drilling to come.  Hope I am on the low side but we will see.

870000 oz will bring SP down to 0.70K.

1.5 million ounces and not a gram below for V.L. and my estimate is low, none know the mill tests, could be better if the cut off is reduced to lower grams greater tonnage. I suspect they want a bang for the buck and it will be very good. Perhaps slightly higher than 1.5 million ounces?Prediction for 2011.New drilling results bring in more good news for the new year around ...more

RB and BJ...it really is beginning to make me nervous to see the OZ "Guestimates" keep getting higher and higher. I wonder what real calculations you have done to come up with them or if it is just wishful thinking. What I am waiting to see is how the resource gets defined. The higher the category the more value per OZ in the ground. At today's gold prices(say $1200/OZ) for an ...more

Just to clarify......Ridgeback said "1.5 million ounces and not a gram below for V.L"...which I assumed he meant in total, not for the new estimate coming out shortly....so when I replied 1.8 or over 2 Mill in total, I'm referring to what they have in the long run, not the short term.Hope this clears up any any misconceptions on my calculations, thoughts, hopes etc.I just liked ...more

BJ...If we are starting to talk about VLake as a whole, 2MM OZ in my mind then become quite conservative. I have spent a lot of time going over the 2005 43-101 technical report for the Leprechaun Pond Deposit and trying to see what all the drilling since then might do to add tonnage, especially when a large portion is now going to be Open Pit. Guessing Open Pit OZ vs. Underground ...more

Ive been with Mar for a long time and I can say this1 management is very sharp and smart2 the focus of Moz presentation was VL. If number 1 is true then I dont believe that they sold all thier pgm and focused on VL without knowing whats there and I dont think if it was 500,000 oz they woulda wasted thier time with that.3 Management would not do a new resource estimate unless they feel that it will ...more
