M&I should double at VL

I spent some time on the weekend crunching numbers. The good thing about MOA and MOZ is they don't hide or obscure their results. I devised a formula to multimply average grade/ton by 2.66 specific gravity, by the average cross section area by the length of the strike.  I get a total resource of about 650,000 (+/-), including inferred. At least 500,000 of those onces should be in the M&I category. I was hoping for at least 700,000 but the numbers just don't add up. At a depth of 250 m there is an average of just over 800 oz per m strike length. The important result is the increase in M&I which is critical for a positive PEA.

Glover Island looks very promising, but keep in mind the current strike length is only about 200 m. If the pending resource estimate is above 200,000 oz it will be very positive.

Between VL and GI, MOA should have about 500,000 oz to their name, which would put the fair value of MOA stock at about $1.00.

The unknown right now is whether there is another "heart of gold" to be discovered at VL. The last NR stated they had drilled 25 holes in 2012, but only 15 have been reported.  A set of good drill results outside of Leprechaun could be the catalyst we need to get this stock moving up.

1st of all I would like to applaude you for your efforts ( im bieng serious and not sarcastoic) I for one dont know and will not attempt to say that I know how to add up the resource but if it took you a weekend (and I am assuming you didnt work allllll weekend on it ) to figure this out then why cant they figure it out over 5 month and release the estimate already. You might be close and you ...more

WW...I think your estimate formulas are quite reasonable...and the split % for M&I plus Inferred about right. I am not sure how much effort you used in adding Hanging Wall numbers to the Main Zone amounts...I am thinking the HWall may add a bit more than you may have estimated so perhaps you may actually get a bit closer to your hoped for OZ's(and maybe if your ave grade is& ...more

Estimating the resource doesn't take a lot of time. The geological model is very simple and the data easy to access. An hour or 2 with an XL sheet will give you a rough estimate. To prove the numbers statistically and make the figures takes a little more time, but not 5 months. There is another reason this resource estimate is late. I would not be surprised to see the 2012 drill results ...more

I suspect they are bundling in the 2012 results as well, to beef up the result. It makes sense for the long suffering stockholders waiting for validation. I wonder why they can't keep a rolling 43-101 going, as a batch of results are completed the results could be applied to the 43-101, the analysis updated to incorporate the new results and an updated 43-101 report published...just thinking.. ...more
