Breakout?

Strong uptrend intact since late 2011.  Golden cross 50dma through 200dma just occured, followed by a successful test of support at .285 from strong buyers.  We may be exceeding the recent highs this week.  The fact that they are coming for the shares makes me think we could see the next leg up on news (Mon the 23rd or 30/31?).  Either way, she looks like a good bet to me.

I am convinced we are going higher, I also find that MRP is a bit of a hedge, given that we are pending news, MRP does not seem to selling off, and is rising daily. very important reserve update north of 30 M 2p and possibly 100 3 p oil MRP is soliciting takeover bids via First Energy, a little bird told me there are 2 bidders currently for MRP the reserve update should imo be a very ...more

guys, how do you come up with such a crazy numbers like $250m or $400m? the value (assuming 2P 15m bbl) is maximum $140m at 70 cents (justified in my previous post).   but assuming that one of the bidders for MRP is Asibelua's Equinox and they hold 10% already (and likely not many 0.40 warrants from the february 2011 financing) they may try to grab it for 40 cents (voiding the warrants) - ...more

ok, i think i figured out the FD count. it is 208m per Jan presentation + 20m secondary + 10m secondary warrants + 4m loan conversion + ~7m convertible = 249m FD. the share count on MRP website is clearly wrong! note that 64m of FD shares is in warrants at 40c+ so when it goes for 40 cents you get an enterprise value of ~80m...and screw up with the warrant holders - and shareholders. at 60 cents ...more

I guess some peoples idea of an acquisation is being given a bad deal in a hot market. Dpar is using old reserves volume that were atributed to TSB 1 only, Since then they have found that this estimated were negatively impacted by skin damage, the reservior was mapped at 250%-300% more than previously known and additional well with better potential TSB 3 was mapped. (TSB 3 alone should double the ...more
