Resource Assessment

A 430% increase sounds good to my ears.

I'd be keen to know Darcyslaw' s assessment of  the report.

Best,

Koenigsberg

K, I'm also pleased with the news, and it seems it has been worth waiting for... It's not until we have the report from SLB that we will be able to tell what what part of the stooip that is recoverable, but I would expect something in the range of 25% is reasonable on primary. When looking at the presentation from Jan om Mira's homepage, it looks like U7 was expected to have about half ...more

Darcyslaw, Thank you for the helpful breakdown of the results--and for the interesting speculation on possible buyers. In this particular case, I was fortunate to time the market right and am a 12-15  cents man, too. But I can understand the chagrin of those buyers at 50 cents and above who face the prospects of MRP ultimately selling at that level--or lower. Best, Koenigsberg

These warrants will make things move faster. I am syre the holders would want to see a deal before expirely. On the other hand if there is no deal and they expire, thats good to as there will be less mouths to feed when the deal is finally done. Patience my friends. Last leg of the long wait!
Comment by mazinga on Jul 08, 2012 3:08am
IMO they wil probably want to exercise the option even if the deal does not finalize before the expiry. If the holders believe that the deal will be worth more than the strike price, they will not let this go by. Like you said I am happy either way. Go MRP baby

<> Name one recent comparable where Nigerian reserves have sold for $5 2P for a non producing field.  I'd like to see it. The latest (in a long line) of comparables is the recent deal for a PRODUCING field is the Heritage Oil deal for Shell's assets announced just last week which sold for $2.74 per 2P bbl.  Heritage gets 11K net bopd production, and expects to ramp ...more
