Interesting Comments From Mart

Does their strategy include Mira ..Time will tell.

Position Mart as a Co-venturer of choice” to maximize acquisition opportunities
Mart’s growth to date has been achieved by accessing and successfully developing a Marginal Field through co-
ventures with two indigenous companies. Mart intends to maintain its status as a “co-venturer of choice” for
indigenous companies in order to secure access to new opportunities. Mart is able to leverage both its understanding
of the dynamics of the local operating environment in Nigeria and its extensive networks and established
relationships to source the most attractive acquisition or farm-in opportunities.
Discovered, but undeveloped, oil and gas fields in Nigeria offer significant opportunity for growth, in light of
regulatory developments encouraging the transfer of these assets from IOCs to indigenous Nigerian companies.
Divestment of these fields by IOCs has been further fuelled by the growing focus in Nigeria of major oil companies
on deepwater exploration activities. High quality acreage continues to be awarded to indigenous companies who, in
turn, seek to partner with independent oil companies that can bring technical expertise and financial resources. Mart
intends to continue fostering relationships with indigenous companies to grow its reserve and Resource base through
acquisition of interests in attractive Marginal Fields and assets being divested by IOCs with a focus on near-term
production, limited infrastructure requirements and low operational risk. While the strategic focus remains on
onshore Nigeria, Mart may consider widening its geographic footprint elsewhere in West Africa in the future should
suitable opportunities arise.

I don't understand why they roll back now, given they needed financing for over a year.

YEAH,  What a mess this gong show has turned out to be. Big rookie mistake for not selling... and buying into the hype and talk.  Suppose this would put the value as a multi year year long at about one 85th of it's bargain acquisition price ions ago :-))  Whatever, and haven't been bothered to pay attention for a few months and Nothing has changed and still one Penny!  ...more

I guess this is not surpassing after seeing the stock performance- but IMHO opinion it is a shame to see the sister get punished for feeding her brother what he must have been asking her for-
