PPE a distraction

People need to stop worrying about covid-19 and PPE in general as it relates to MRS. The need for these emergency items will come and go but what we should be focusing on is what Mrs offers that others can't, and that is their technology for military protective equipment. Unless and until the military side of their business takes off, this is going nowhere. These other contracts may keep the lights on, but so what?

I partly agree for what you said yourself--the ppe keeps the light on--that is very important actually without that the military products don't have a chance to firmly take root. That's point one. Point two is that this is way more than just protective military gear--this is also training and consultation from Unifire all the gadgets that they sell that can be utilized have you seen what ...more

Aucontraire! Aucontraire :)  covid19 PPE contracts is on gravy.  PTF is not the main bread winner for MRS anymore it's Unifire and DOD contracts for 10 years at 4 billion a year, I suggest you go do some DD on MRS.

PPE for the general populace in the US will be a need for at least a year after Trump leaves office and someone competent replaces him.    The US is world leader in COVID cases and the virus is very entrenched there. PPE for industrial, medical, and scientific is an ongoing and large market.   This is why multinational companies like 3m, Honeywell and Dupont are so invested in ...more

PPE is a commodity therefore there's no money in it. No real money... As I said maybe enough to keep the lights on but is that why we are here? The military side is not an "also" it's the "only." Without that as I said the stock will languish.

All sorts of companies make money on commodities.   For example, health and safety products were about 22% of 3m revenue on their last finacials.   3m is making these masks for pennies with Chinese and Mexican manufacturers.   From one of my clients, I know for a fact that even if you are further down the food chain, as a distributor, you can mark up nominal 3m PPE ...more

Lol.. I was wondering when someone was going to say that.    All I can say to that is that in Canada, where politicians decided to stick together during COVID and put their egos and partisan garbage aside, we just added nearly a million jobs in June.   Though I am not a big fan of the politics of our premier in Ontario, I recognize that he's done a good job on the pandemic ...more

As much as I'm not a big fan of Ford, he's really done a great job with this so far.  I went to a grocery store yesterday and every single person in the store had a mask and everyone was politely keeping thier distance.  I'm very optimistic about this although we have a long way to go to get out of the woods. For the folks down south, it's really not that hard.

"Stick together," "egos aside" may be well and good in Canada. Maybe you've been in a cave for the past 4 years and haven't seen the news but in the US, the Libby Dimocrats have been trying to crucify Donald Trump since he kicked the deep state hornet's nest and defeated a corrupt ex-1st Tramp turned political schemer named Hillary Clinton. They have been trying to ...more

High value opinion, that is... Well, they (your sources) are not as bad as could possibly be expected (no Breitbard, Fox or worse, at least), but may I conclude that, in general, you don't like socialism? For ~240 euro monthly total , we (2off) have full health insurance, which includes anything from an aspirin to open heart surgery. Cimzia costs 740 euro/kit of two shots and is included in insurance, so it's 100% free ...more
