Buy the rumour (run up starting a month ago) and sell the fact (the cliff it fell off this week).

I think the insiders were hoping for a pop on the drill results (as was I).  They could end up owning 20% of Silver Sands, with a stream.   Problem is that gold and silver miners have lost a ton of value in the last 1-2 years.  It did have a MC of over $ 30M two years ago, now their MC is under $ 8M. In my mind: gold and silver miners will have thier day starting in 2022

Silver Sands seems very diluted. Even if they find something great, it has to reverberate through seventy million shares, fully diluted.   As for Mirasol's multiple projects, yes, that is better than a few. But keep in mind Mirasol has always had many staked and developing projects on the go and all but one - Joaquin - have been forgetable duds. Joaquin was a decade ago. So, unless gold

I have to believe that there is more good news to come... ...based on a sea of green on insider purchases at market and or stock redemptions (See Cdn Insider) over the past 6 months.   In other words, I doubt their implied enthusiasm is only or just about the Silver Sands/Virginia drill results. And of course little players like Silver Sands will participate big-time if/when gold

Yeah, 2.65m at 1,456 g/t Ag at a shallow depth was good enough to lose almost 6%.
