Called Tracy

I decided to call Tracy after seeing this newsletter and left her a message to call me back. Highly inappropriate for John to be asking shareholders to feed him sales leads. This is incredibly distasteful and this alone should be the reason for him being released.

I just received an email back from Bruce asking for my phone #. I am going to give it to him and pass along everyone's displeasure!
Comment by Trevor876 on Dec 03, 2020 2:41pm
My email to Bruce, Don and Antoine Good afternoon Mr. Linton and others   I saw the shareholder newsletter from Martello today. Mr. Proctor asking shareholders for sales leads is the single most pathetic and disgusting thing I have ever seen the CEO of a publicly traded company do. Asking shareholders, who already are receiving no value for our investment and are underwater, to now ...more

I have responded to Bruce with my phone #. Now I wait
Comment by Trevor876 on Dec 03, 2020 2:47pm
Good job buddy. I sent him my phone number too in my email. If he replies DO NOT hold back and demand Mr. Proctor's termination and Bruce take over in the interm. This Newsletter is so far over the line. I cannot believe anyone thought this was appropriate in that office.

Good idea. Please pass on the following if you agree. What is needed: -reduced size of board. No hangers on who just blow out their options demonstrating their lack of interest and support and confidence in the company.  -a requirement that all board members own bought and paid for shares -that the ceo should not be a member of the board unless he has a major financial equity stake in ...more

Thanks for taking the initiative Steve and a big thank you to Bruce Linton for initiating the call with you and for the sincerity he demonstrated from the summary you provided.

Good for you, I didn't even get a response!

Can you share the email you sent him?
Comment by steevee84 on Dec 03, 2020 3:42pm
yes I can share my emails to Bruce later when I'm not at work. But let me start off by saying, no matter your thoughts on MTLO or Bruce, the fact that he called a small potatoes shareholder shows the man has integrity. While the call was somewhat short and Bruce did most of the talking, he did touch on a few items from my emails. He started off by saying that he and Mr Matthews are very aware ...more

Thank you very much for sharing this Steve and your proactiveness here.

thank you all for the encouraging comments ! I was kind of feeling like I may have let some of u down by not getting answers to some of the more important questions we all have. But I can tell you with 100% certainty that Bruce was very sincere in his phone call, I could tell by the tone of his voice that he was taking the call very serious even tho it was a small time shareholder in the grand ...more

Awesome Steve, thx for sharing!  Now we know they are listening and aren't asleep at the helm, let's hope they can turn this around and play catch up in a few quarters!

I get a feeling that company management has gotten so far behind in investor communication that at this point they are afraid to respond. Based on Ms. King's position and background, i would venture to guess that the investor letter was co-authored by her and Proctor. They probably thought the leads thing was a nice touch to get shareholders involved but it is a horrible misjudgment ...more

It won't be hard to see at this point. If Linton is getting involved and not pleased like he apparently said, no news over the next few weeks or give it by end of January due to holidays won't cut it. Linton grows by acquisitions. He, Matthews and Antoine have to do something to get the share price significantly higher because more dilution at these levels is going to make for a much ...more

A very quick fix to the stock price would be him stepping in as interim ceo and telling the world on bnn what mtlo is up to and how it is an amazing piece of monitoring software for Microsoft. Then when the stock is in the 35-50 cent range do an acquisition and have Antoine move into the ceo role. Like Trevor has noted below, I hope this comes to fruition. His name carries significant global ...more

Bruce definitely attracts attention and given the low valuation on MTLO I believe a spotlight on them is all that's needed.  Bruce on media outlets talking up the fact that Gizmo picked up an outage is MS Teams before anyone else did would go a long way.  He is the sizzle on the steak that we need right now.  Given the T-shirt episode he would need to say he's taking over ...more

I agree, it sounds like they are trying to make some necessary moves and/or changes to steer the company in the right direction.

I re-read the newsletter and tried to remember when was the last time I had seen a call-out to shareholders of that kind. I do not remember too many times that I heard about shareholders reaching out seeking how to help the company. I don't think they would do that if the company was well performing, but I think that whole section including the way to help is to stay positive, is perhaps a ...more

or more likely I would think a huge opportunity to use non trailer park boys skills to develop and implement a sales strategy that is incentive based for the salesperson. Moreover the board members without bought and paid for shares shoud be shown the door.

I just talked with my 17 year old son about this .  First thing he said:  "why doesn't the CEO and board members own shares?  They have no reason to care if they are not invested".  My goodness even a teenager knows this! I think if we see an exit of Proctor and Danforth (hopefully Colley Clarke as well), there is NO way the stock will do anything but start ...more

Maybe it's wishful thinking but my gut tells me it  would be a good time to add before we get news of Mr. Proctor's departure early next next week.  I'm seriously considering adding in a meaningfulnway today.  I figure the worst case scenario is that there is no news in the next week or so and I sell what I bought at my purchase price it a cent or two higher
Comment by Mikeyrob on Dec 04, 2020 8:17am
I’m not sure of the departure of Proctor, but definitely would love it to happen. I added a little over 100,000 shares over the past few days at .195 and mostly at .20. Stock is extremely oversold right now and there needs to be a meaningful leg up at some point
Comment by #chickendinner on Dec 04, 2020 8:35am
Think I am going to roll the dice today.  If Bruce was really fired up yesterday and he and Terry and Antoine were meeting then Something has to happen in short order.  If the SP growth of .15 to .20 in 3 years along with no ownership and then that desperate plea for business yesterday doesn't get him moving along immediately then I will have lost all faith in the board as well ...more

I quickly looked at a few smallcap plays that are producing better results than MTLO. Proctor is getting paid some premium coin compared to the other CEOs and I dont quite understand how that came about so early in MTLO's life. They must have thought he was the one to really push this hard and either we should start seeing that acceleration or there will have to be some adjustments. I also ...more

Some large cap ceo’s dont even make the salary proctor is receiving. He is an embarrassment and they have to look to someone who has a clue and at the very least put some skin in the game
Comment by canyousayiii on Dec 04, 2020 9:38am
True. I can justify it being worth it but not at the pace he is growing this company. In three years we should be a $30 million revenue company for me to cautiously say Ok, I get it. Buying GSX revenue for majority of the revenue growth, dumping Elfiq because nothing could be done with it, nope, not premium salary in my humble opinion.

Steevee84, thanks for sharing and thanks for your time in contacting the board as well as taking Bruce's call.  I sold half my position today, but I am glad I didn't sell it all, as this kind of response is something we all needed to hear.  Clearly Antoine is a key player if he was mentioned alongside Bruce and Terry.  And I agree, it says a lot about Bruce, and why many of ...more
