Where is Private Equity?

Do followers of the company know if Private Equity has approached the company historically? At a 100% premium, it would be a great purchase valuation even then. It doesn't take much digging to realize where upcoming revenue and the DEM industry is heading. If I had $100 million lying around, I know where I would be investing it...

I hear you. I am just not as gung ho on this one as I am on some others but I recognize that markets are not rational and that I am not going to make perfect allocation decisions. There is a poster Fundamental that can speak to technical merits and comment on what MTLO has versus the competition. As to Private Equity, who knows who looked at MTLO and what they are thinking, but it is quite clear

Markets are very inefficient for small cap stocks. Maybe for the big name stocks they are efficiently priced but in micro cap world the disconnect can often be large and prolonged. Perhaps the business wasn't ready a year ago to ramp, and it is ready to ramp now. The signs are there in plain sight.

Agree. From my empirical experience, most of the time the market greatly overvalues what companies have. This one had the basic ingredients to be one of those because of the high profiles of its co-chairs, one of the major factors that influenced my decision to invest.
