A year in review

The SH news tab shows 20 last news releases (or their direct coverage) per page.

For Martello, the page covers news relating to financial results, financing and leadership changes.

Not one news release related to some good business development accomplishment or something prospective along that line.  Pretty clearly demonstrating how badly the company has been struggling, if the stock price chart and the 1.5  cent level is not a sufficient summary.

just watched an unrelated piece about technology in general and a comment from a very successful company builder in his early 20s struck a chord.  Simple comment that we are all consciously or subconsciously aware:  technology is changing at a fast pace.  Just thought how Martello trying for years to get something right will be obsolete before they get to that point unless they are evolving the stuff they are peddling at lightening speed.  Cue the type of NRs I am referring to...no such indications.  I fear the leadership of the company is composed of individuals who made their mark in a very different era.

Can you imagine?  You are hired to build a company and just a bit over half a decade you lose over some $15 million or whatever scary amount it is.  And had you did nothing and just ran what was there when you took over, probably could have run a profitable operation. I could imagine that it doesn't feel as bad when it was not your company and you got paid close to $400k annually ...more
