NORTH AMERICAN GEM INC. RECEIVES ADDITIONAL COAL PROSPECTING PERMITS NORTH OF HUDSON BAY, SASKATCHEWAN;THE COMPANY HAS RECEIVED AN ADDITIONAL 137 COAL PROSPECTING PERMITS

North American Gem Inc. has received anadditional 137 coal prospecting permits from Saskatchewan Energy andResources near the most recent coal discovery by Goldsource Mines Inc. This now brings the total to 757 coal prospecting permitscovering an area of 1,436,500 acres (581,376 hectares) that have been approvedby Saskatchewan Energy and Resources.

All of the ground that has been applied for has been done so inaccordance with all the rules and regulations set forth by the government ofSaskatchewan's permitting office. As with all other companies applying forcoal dispositions in Saskatchewan, North American Gem has itsapplications and coal prospecting permits subject to the Saskatchewangovernment's approval process.

Mike Magrum, PEng, a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101,has approved the technical content of this news release.

It's a long road back now.  The timing has gone.  This is now yesterday's  'play'.  Too bad.  It is now Ho-Humsville. But the work commitments remain and they are going to be vereeee onerous.  The climate for exploration financing now sucks .. big time.  Sad sad sad for NAG.  But the weather is great for drill programs .. the soft ground is ...more
