production numbers


What people will be waiting for now will be to see some production numbers so the profitability can  actually be measured.  It shouldn't take very long to post something since the coal isn't having to be washed.

This is a very good first step.

Hey Laskowski I think you are right about the production numbers being the mighty influence over peoples descicion on wether to get on board or not. What would you expect is a general timeline for the announcement of these production numbers do you think they will be released a couple of days after auger #2 goes to work ? or will they wait for about a month or so to announce the prod numbers?I ...more

I brought this up a long time ago, 4WIW. Going to production does not result in a SP increase usually. The Blue Sky disappears, and the speculators leave, since the possibilities for excitement wanes. Speculators are usually replaced by investors that are attracted to the steady income of a producer. Here, however, there are no solid resource numbers to look at, no solid production estimates to ...more

I tend to agree with you HighTest, but NAG is different... NAG is a producer now, but it is also an explorer (Sask. is still in the books to explore).  That said, only mine #1 is producing.  They have 3 more mines in the works in Kentucky and a mine in W.Virginia in the works.  So lots of news to come.  Producers don't only jump on quarterly reports, they jump on good news ...more

Great post Saturn, I'm with you.With 3-4 more mines to go there remains a lot of upside potential. I have confidence as to where NAG's s/p is going to go, it's just a matter of time. I want to see where we'll be at come March - April of 2010. I believe it will be a very different situation.Go NAG

I also share your thoughs on Saturn!This will be a longer term hold. Now that NAG is a producer and a exploration company. I bought NAG 2yrs ago only being an exploration company but  now my forward outlook has changed with the recent changes.
