The latest on mine #2 permit
Just checked the State of Kentucky Division of Mine Permits database.
The most recent entry is dated 2/12 2010 with the following remarks:
"ADMINISTRATIVELY CORRECTED APPLICATION RESUBMITTED"
"Latest decision on 2/26 2010 10 DAYS REMAINING"
Looks like we are moving forward finally!!!

Many thanks, "mdzgn2006." Isn't the timing remarkable: the 10 cent options expire on 2/25/2010, and the decision regarding the corrected application is due on 2/26/2010. Go figure!Go NAG Go!

Good DD thanks for that mdzgn2006! Ive heard that NAG is hoping to have permits for mine #2 by the end of Feb. I hope that the permitting application process will move more smoothly with the latest 2 additions to the NAG team. Good Luck!SM

Saturn,
My reading is that the decision can be anytime between now and the 26th. To me, nothing wrong with IR's credibility.
You can find this info at https://www.minepermits.ky.gov/sminformationsystem/

Charles has stated that #2 mine should produce 30,000 ton a month #1 10,000 ton per month .They have 4 or 5 buyers for the Blue Gem coal .The Mill is capable of 300 tons an hour .As mines come on line NAG will meet all the demands and will have a possitive cash flow .GLTA

On the interactive map of the Kentucky.gov Division of Mining Permits website, application # 8610502, i.e. application for NAG Mine #2 can be located as "permit pending".For those who may not be aware, mine #2 is Blue Gem coal. Both the maps and the database are updated daily.

mdzgn2006, are u sure mine #2 is blue gem? I have always been under the impression that it is not blue gem ... I think that's what IR told me once too. Anyone else know?

I wonder how much the bad weather will effect NAG s ability to get the coal? It seems like there might be more delays? Isnt there like 3 feet of snow there and freezing temperatures?
