Hi Jim

Could you please tell me the current status of, 'American Blue Gem and Steam Coal's, permit application No. 861-0502'?

Can you also give me, a conservative estimate of the, "earliest" possible date of approval / issuance of this permit?

The application was returned to the applicant for administrative corrections on February 19, 2010.  The earliest decision date for a permit application is defined as thirty days after the last public advertisement is run.  Since the last advertisement can not be run until the application is determined administratively complete and the fact this application had not yet been deemed administratively complete there is no way to determine the earliest decision date.

Lucci, from the way I read it, if we get the permits March 19, then advertising until April 19, but NAG will have a whole month to get its equipment etc. set up so production might start around April 20th or so .... my guess is, probably closer to the end of April ...

From what I was told months ago, NAG already has all the equipment and crews, etc. on standby for mine #2.  So as soon as they get their permits, then can start.  So to wait another month makes quite a bit of difference.  Especially since they were supposed to get their permits by February, and drilling by March.  Now it's permits by hopefully April, and drilling by ...more
