Article from COAL USA
Last night's posting by manderson29 was very informative and serves as a clear rebuttal to some of the negative views posted here recently. It is worth re-posting. Thank you again.
The article plainly stated that NAG is running a small but profitable operation with mine #1 in Kentucky - its first foray into the coal mining business. I am confident mine #2 is on its way to full permitting and will be up and running in the foreseeable future.
The SMIS database has new entries as of this morning, but I believe permitting is more advanced than the dates suggest as it would be tantamount to insider info to provide up to the minute details. So I don't think we can rely on it beyond guessing.

Like I said you have to give NAG until the 3rd qrter to get all their affairs in order and Production to capacity... Great Post ...things still moving forward reasons to buy not sell so be careful before you put your sell order in... The next 2-3 mths are going to be interesting ... GLTA

I'm thinking it probably has to do with the timing...The news article came out in March, so it was probably written up in Jan/Feb. That's when all the bad weather was, so maybe they were going to release it but decided not to because the weather hurt numbers?
