North American Gem Inc. Director Resigns

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 01, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

North American Gem Inc. (NAG) (TSX VENTURE: NAG) reports that Mr. Bruce Lock has resigned effective October 1, 2010 as director and CFO of the company to pursue personal interests. The company wishes to express its gratitude for the contribution that Mr. Lock has made to the company and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

To fill the vacancy created by Mr. Lock's resignation, the company has appointed Mr. Doug McFaul as director and CFO of the company. Mr. McFaul has 16 years experience with companies involved in the public markets. Mr. McFaul has held senior management positions with various public companies.

North American Gem Inc. (TSX VENTURE: NAG) is a junior resource company in Western Canada. The company's major focus is expanding its coal mining operations at its flagship properties in Kentucky. In addition, the company has interests in coal, copper, molybdenum, and other base metals in Canada.

GG,this is your fault...your nasty mouth scared him off...I noticed that he didn't get in on the PP...I'm glad that I sold 150,000 shares today...Made an 181/2% profit on the exchange and have three years to exercise the warrants...We will see if he sold any shares today as an insider...I guess they will give the new guy options ...LOL..SUCYN

There's no way he resigned for personal reasons, not when they have somebody else already lined up to take his place!  IMHO he was 'let go,' for personal reasons.
