North American Gem Inc. Appoints New Director
February 24, 2012: North American Gem Inc. (NAG) (TSX-V symbol: NAG) reports that the company has appointed Mr. Verne Dawson to the board of directors. Mr. Dawson has over 20 years experience as a successful business owner and has extensive experience in the capital markets. Mr. Dawson graduated from the administration program at Okanagan College which allowed him to work in the accounting department for the Western Canada Lottery Foundation and BC Lottery Corporation. Mr. Dawson has also spent time as the Senior Plant Operator at Oxidental Petroleum and has gained experience in open pit mining operations representing NAG in its Kentucky Operations. Mr. Dawson has also worked for 22 years as an Emergency Services provider for the Kelowna Fire Department and retired as Senior Captain.
Mr. Peter Dickie recently resigned as director of the company to pursue other interest. The Company would like to thank Mr. Dickie for all his contributions to date.
North American Gem Inc. (TSX-V symbol: NAG) is a Junior Exploration Company based in Western Canada. The Company's primary goal is to explore for Coal in North America, currently the focus is in Kentucky, Saskatchewan, and West Virginia. In addition to Coal exploration, the Company also has interests in Uranium, Copper, Gold, Molybdenum and other base metals in Canada.
