Auryns market cap is 500 % higher than NCG

Auryn Resources is the new operator at Comittee Bay after a less good deal for the North Country Gold's shareholders, who have previously been elucidated here it is not the underlying value that controls the stock prices . It's all about timing , when the next artificial upturn begins. That the project now will once again be brought to life by Auryns lead the JV the deal is imo a very good sign that a new upturn has begun. Their leadership is extremely experienced, they recently sold Cayden ( an exploration company in Mexico ) to Agnico Eagle for $ 205 m and management in Asanko Gold operates in Africa.
Interestingly, these gentlemen now after Agnicos purchase goes into this project (Committee Bay) which is next door to one of Agnicos most important mines. Just a coincidence ? I think we will notice pretty soon what is the g here. It would for example not surprise me at all if Agnico Eagle buys North Country Gold and lets Auryn be operator for them. It may be useful for several reasons . Their course ( Auryns ) recently reached C $ 1.5 , it corresponds to a market value of $ 45 million , compared with JV partner North Country Gold's trifling $ 9.1 millions. Note that Auryn has no other project than the Committee Bay in the portfolio. I have a feeling that this difference in market values will level off soon.

This is a good deal for the NCG. I see AUG taking out NCG after they spend their $6 million. Forget the past, the share price was 3 cents before the deal. The management of NCG appears to be very capable. After all they found the gold on this property, not AUG. NCG now at 7 cents. Market Cap of AUG is ~ 3X's that of NCG. So thank you Mr. Market for the cheap NCG shares. Why buy AUG when you ...more
