To the Health Canada Expert Panel on Cannabis

I am writing to impress upon you the need to increase the THC limits in edibles packages.  Currently the limit is 10mg per package.  This creates an uncompetitive price per gram to the illicit market whose products are still widely available on a convenient delivery to door basis.
I understand that the case numbers relating to hospital admissions due to overdosing or other health issues arising from legal edibles acquired are near zero whereas illicit product continues to create significant case counts.
If dosing in legal edibles was increased to 100mg per package, the price of the product would be competitive to illicit product and would enable and encourage me to buy safe, tax generating legal product, which I would prefer.
This would be the main reason to bring me to the legal edible market as a buyer.
Please recommend this change on package limits of edibles to increase to 100mg for the upcoming March report to Parliament.
Thank you.
