The new Zone C is looking pretty good...6.3m of 50.81 g/t is fantastic...117.95 over 2.7m...also very nice. Figure 2 in this press release is really showig the potential growth (Zone C)...similar to Goldboro in that they have open pit and VAST underground potential.  Expensive to drill that deep but nice to know what you have down there for future high-grade mining. Hope to hear the results ...more

Will the great depth of this very high grade and thickness be an obstacle to mining? Doesn't such a depth imply high costs?

It all boils down to economics. How many ounces of gold can they produce (which is a factor of the grade and width of the headings being mined).  Yes it cost more to get the gold ore to surface the deeper you go so your grade factor needs to be above a certain threshold as does the number of tonnes being mined per day.  Not too difficult to figure out.  Another key factor of course ...more
