45 Feet approaching 2 oz's per ton Gold Drilled

EastCoast, I think the high grade drill results will continue throughout with great frequency which is one of the key reasons there was no hesitation for Eric Sprott to open his wallet and make the $15 Million investment at $5.25 a share.

I have been around here from time to time since the IPO.

See you at $10.00.  Eric knows it too. He's likely already chatting with Makuch of Kirkland Lake Gold and lining up the next rising tide for New Found Gold & Newfoundland's Great Gold discovery.

Do you think Kirkland Lake will buyout New Found Gold? I have thought of that scenario since the Queensway property and specifically the Keats Zone would be a perfect fit for them only mining very high grade gold deposits. Personally, i think the company will be held tight until most of the prospected areas are explored, at least as long we continue to hit in the pace we are doing now. Eric Sprott also invested $5 million in SIC last week so that's $20 million he invested last week alone plus the original $12.5 million about a year ago so he's up to $37.5 million invested in this region for anyone keeping score. He obviously likes what he's seeing in the drill ...more

I don't see a buyout coming anytime soon. On properties with this kind of potential, Sprott will play the long game. Hopefully, the other two biggies will also.

Yes you are probably right. More value to be gained by keeping the drills turning finding more high grade gold zones. Still too early in the game to be thinking buyout but it's always fun to dream.

Rummager what 2 other biggies do you refer? Pallisades 33% Mcewan 10% Novo 10%Insiders 8% and someone else that makes the total 82%. As I see it there will be no chance for a buyout until someone  loosens the grip on the ...more
