Canaccord price target $4.25

Why is there only 1 price target on Nfg from institutions. Canaccord's is $4.25 lol

Canaccord Genuity analyst Tom Gallo maintained a Hold rating on New Found Gold Corp on Tuesday, setting a price target of C$4.25, which is approximately 64.96% below the present share price of $10.06.

Thanks for the advice. So for the next swan, there isn't any other institutions with a price target ? Strange indeed, is canaccord not a major shareholder? And yet their target is $4.25 LOL

FYI. If the above is true, it means absolutely zero. Price target on an exploration company like NFG is laughable. I can name you blue chip analyst which had a sell rating on APPLE a decade ago. The guy on BNN who has his half hour show on ETF's was saying he was shorting US equities about 5 years ago. How did that work out?  NFG is priced for perfection and many of us know that. In many ...more

I will disagree with BC in a small way.  If we get another March 2020 correction, and we very well might, a lightly traded stock like NFG will be hammered down to $4.25 easy.  It is always wise to have some cash in reserve for market corrections.  They are termendous and fleeting buying opportunities!

NFG going back to 4 dollars is not a correction. A correction is 10% to 25% at most. NFG would have to lose 75% of its value to get to 4 bucks. NFG is not the company now as it was when it traded at 4 bucks. They now have multiple zones all with bonanza holes. They did not back then. NFG will not go to 4 dollars under any situation. BC

Call it a "market washout" if you so wish.  I remember March 2020 well.  A lot of my stocks lost 50-65% of their value, all be it briefly. Hopefully, we will never find out.  My advice stands.

What happened in March 2020 wasn't a correction. It was panic and no one knowing what to expect due to a pandemic and markets closing. A correction is what we will likely get in the markets in the next several months due to massive unrealistic increases in the s&p and nasdaq. NFG will not go to $4.00 unless something catastrophic occurs globally, which will impact all markets.

There have been many of these corrections/washouts/deep dives over the last 40 years.  Each had it's own reasons and dynamics.  They will continue to happen for reasons no one expects.  If another happens in Q3 or Q4 NFG is going to be cut in half or more along with the rest of the market. My point being - keep some cash in reserve for these stormy times.  At $4.25/share ...more

This guy posts as "Bumpandrun" on CEO.CA.  He only appears on down days and abuses everyone until the stock starts recovering and then he disappears.  It's the same BS every time.  I do find his posts hilarious though.  Like a mouse shaking his fist at an elephant.

Canacr*p initiated that price target way back about 6 months ago when NFG was around $4. That was before NFG announced about 100 drill holes that were outstanding assay results. I was wondering when the bashers would show up. You're not going to scare any of us here buddy. Not our first rodeo with big discoveries. With big multi billion dollar discoveries you get big fluctuations in ...more
