  Guys there is lots of high grade gold right along the Appleton Fault. And these guys have over 70km of it. Imagine they have found 3 Swan like high grade gold zones near surface in only one year of drilling on a 2km section of the Appleton Fault. Huge success in the first year and they have been cherry picking all the stuff close to surface near the highway and near infrastructure.

What do you think they will find on the Queensway South once they get down there drilling. The Rock Doctor says NFG is a slam dunk investment because they will find a lot more high grade zones and of course they all extend deep into the earth's crust. These zones all go deep and there will be narrow sections and wider sections depending on the rock formations surrounding the fault. They have

Megacopper, a question for the Rock Doctor. In this area along the Appleton Fault, what is the source rock for all this gold? Could it be ultramafic intrusives? What else??

  He says the gold is carried in the hydrothermal fluids that comes up from down deep in the earth's crust and follows the faults and fractures in the host rock. The gold itself is found in the quartz. The host rock could be any type of rock. In the case of Queensway North the guys at New Found Gold say the host rocks are altered sedimentary rocks.
