They must have had a few complaints yesterday. About LIDAR surveys, these are suface mapping tools to search for surface structures. For deeper structures, the best tool is seismic surveys.

BDOG, yes a lot of gold companies are using this technology, especially when there is a thick layer of overburden.

  There is lots of overburden out there that is for sure. Thank god Al Keats (see below) didn't give up and kept prospecting for years looking for the source of his brother Fred's high grade boulder he found miles away. He found the source at the Dome prospect barely sticking out if the ground. Probably the only bit of rock exposed in the area but he found it. He never gave up ...more
