100 smackers

@Icarus @FOLLOWes $100 a share? That would put NFG as the third largest gold producer in the world, behind Barrick and Newmont, with a market cap of 16 billion dollars. They don't have a mill yet. Long ways to go to a $100 share price. Maybe in 10 years....unless the buyout comes sooner.

Oh Icarus you high flying fool you better factor in it will cheaper

to mine then Fosterville and no kangaroos jumping around to

distract you. If only I had a CEO acount. IKE

How many tenative oz of gold would we need for $100? I think we may have that much on the Appleton. We will need people to get excited about JBP fault and  Kingsway before the market will push it that crazy and  then a couple of years to show the reality that it is for  real. IKE

We are a long ways from $100 a share but $30 to $50 could be attainable within two or three years with continued exploration success. I'm hoping for at least 10 million ounces of gold at Queensway North as they drill deeper around the Appleton Fault. And that could end up being very conservative. Still too early to say for sure so it's just speculation. The JBP Fault about 5 ...more

An overly simplistic calculation is: Number of ozs of gold (X) times (the sale price of the gold minus the cost of the gold) divided by the number of shares = $100/share We know none of the above but we can throw in some numbers: Sale price = $1800 Cost = $1000 Number of shares down the road = 200,000,000 Solve for X X = 25 million If you assume a 50:50 split between NFG and a buyer then you ...more

Look backwards at some of the promising companies that have been swallowed up by the majors and research what they have mined over 10 years. That should give you a good understanding. Then double it for NFG

I have shied away from it in the past because people think you're nuts when you tell them what you really think is possible. But I guess I'll be the guinea pig and go way out on a limb and give my blue sky numbers. All speculation of course. It will be a lot more than what people even dream is possible because most don't realize that the depth component of this very ...more

Absolutely outstanding speculation from one and all and really like the base from where  everyone comes from. I especially liked yours DanWarren but the absolute stellar one is still from Captain Electrum because afterall gold is where you find it. You can tell Mega and the Rock Doctor have hashed a lot of this over over more than 1 bottle of sauce. Release the Kraken. In your ...more

In a world where the majors are strapped for reserves I am fully expecting one of them to buy up NFG and acquire the entire property/mining district.  The old adage of them waiting for bankable feasability studies deposit by deposit may not hold this time. Speculation that NFG will be around long enough to hit $100/share is more than a bit silly to me but I won't knock it if it happens.
Comment by megacopper on Nov 17, 2021 7:46am
Hey I'm not saying it will happen I'm just saying it's possible given the huge potential. It will most likely get bought out long before it ever reaches those levels. It is all just pure speculation at this point. The financing closes Nov 24th. The fireworks show will begin soon afterwards. The December to February timeframe should be really exciting for NFG shareholders ...more

Without mentioning names Mega please do not support proponets of the Kreb cycle. This is so tiring prove up a resource ...get a 43-101.....sell to a major because after all we cannot mine ourselves. There are no exceptions to this rule....give me a break. Anyone that thinks is doomed unable to see what is here. Near surface ultra rich veins of very mineable material.....nobody but the majors ...more

I agree, and as much as I like this property there isn't a snowball chance in hell it will prove up anywhere near 50 million ounces. I'm hoping for 40 bucks with both fingers crossed. It never hurts to dream though. GLTA

LikeIke,  I agree. My rough and dirty calculation for NFG to get to $100 dollars is 50M ounces of measured and indicated. Not neccessarily proven and probable reserves but nevertheless.  That could happen in what, 20-30 years. LOL. That is not my expectations.  My reasonable expectation, applying a level of conservatism is a trading price between $30-$40 within 2 years. That ...more

My plan for this thing is 3 to 5 years. I am dealing with a short run way called life. I firmly believe  that in this time frame the share price will increase dramatically because of more discoveries and the increasing price of gold. They will have to take on a major partner at some point in time to mine this thing or perhaps sell it. Either way my 40 bucks a share stands as my exit point and ...more

Well said BlueChipper. Another way to get to $100 a share is through mining these high grade zones similar to what was done at Fosterville. Mining three high grade zones simultaneously could produce a lot of gold from a relatively small amount of rock and hence profits would be huge.   This would eventually propel the share price to extremely high levels and not ...more

Mega,  You are 100% right and that scenerio is more plausible for the company to reach those levels vs. it being based on exploration. In the real world, you would never be drilling for 20-30 years to achieve some resource target. You would find one or more of the best zones, aim to put them in production and then finance exploration work internally over the following decade(s). That is a ...more
