pesky shorts

A few pesky shorts around today but nothing new for this or any other stock...the obvious thing to me but what seems to escape some others is that a short ( unlike any other subset  of trader) is virtually guareteed to be aa future buyer of shares...and its often the case when he becomes a buyer he will be  a buyer in a panic with little regard for what he pays to acquire shares...and that's a good thing....a person who irrationally fears shorts is like a man waking down the street with an attractive lady who fears that every man that smiles at here is going to steal her....speaks more about a mans insecurity and lack of confidence in the trust he has placed on his relationship or  investment than any thing else.... just my opinion...long and strong nfgc

Shorters by definition are future buyers but only rarely do shorts panic buy back.  They usually come and go without anyone noticing.  It's more likely that they will get a brokerage call and have to buy back their shares at market price. A long time ago I use to be a shorter and it is a very dangerous practice, especially, with exploration stocks.  You never know when the next

yes, a brokers call if they are on margin very definately....and if prices are flying on good news as in a short squeeze that's often aided and abetted by shorts covering in a panic

And has been 5 weeks since last assay results, I would not want to be short if the results are as good as the past results.

Yup, I hear you. After getting burned a couple of times I gave it up as  well.
